Revisiting this project. I started to think about my headlong determinism and how I sometimes make moves while working that I eventually regret and cannot recover from. This project being one. I regret chopping the pages of the book into small chips. I have piles and piles of these chips and am determined to build with them. I have accepted the fact that they are now objects and no longer a series of paintings. This realization is what has allowed me to present the printed versions of the books like you see here. I am sooooo glad I photographed each page at the studio so I have digital files of all of them. THESIS SCHMESISI! I WANT TO MAKE ART!
